Editable example of a curriculum map for fundamental British values in primary provision, devised by Featherstone Primary School in Birmingham. The document demonstrates how a primary school has mapped British values and spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development across their curriculum. In particular, this curriculum map shows that the school not only promotes SMSC and FBV through assemblies, school council work and behaviour policy, but also puts them at the heart of the school’s work. School leaders may find this resource a helpful reference point to consider how SMSC and FBV are promoted within their own schools, and how to evidence impact.
