The British Muslim Trust Helpline is available via multiple channels to encourage and empower victims of anti-Muslim hate to report incidents. Victims can access the helpline through:
- Phone – free of charge from any phone, operating between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Website form – designed with three steps and mostly non-required fields for easy completion
- Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and live chat (victims can use these services at any time, and a member of the team will provide follow-up on the following day)
All calls are handled by Muslim staff to ensure cultural and religious understanding of the context of these incidents. All communications and personal information shared with the helpline are treated with strict confidentiality to ensure victims feel safe and protected when reaching out for support.
Further information and advice is available on the British Muslim Trust website.

All third-party resources hosted on Educate Against Hate have undergone a quality-assurance process, a due diligence assessment and content review before being added to the site, so you can have confidence that you’re using trusted, accurate, high-quality content.
You should use any resources on this website at your own discretion. When selecting resources and materials to use, schools may find it helpful to review guidance produced by the Department for Education on using external agencies.
