Sometimes young people may come across news that impacts their emotions. This classroom resource, part of the NewsWise unit of work created by The Guardian Foundation, explores how to manage emotional responses when interacting with the news and looks at how young people can report concerns or seek support and advice. It is suitable for upper primary and lower secondary and includes a lesson plan, classroom activities and a fictional case study.
