This tool has been designed to support schools to develop a whole-school approach which promotes respect and discipline, in order to combat bullying, harassment and abuse of any kind. It is intended for use by the senior leadership team within schools. Many of the interventions and support outlined will help any school wishing to create a more respectful school community. It builds on the recommendations in Tom Bennett’s independent review on behaviour in schools. It gives practical advice and examples of how schools can develop and implement their approach. It also links to case studies and further support.
