This classroom resource for secondary school pupils explores conspiracy theories with the question: ‘Do we underestimate the power of conspiracy theories?’. The resource provides teachers an opportunity to explore with pupils what conspiracy theories are, the appeal of conspiracy theories and how they can impact people’s lives. Pupils have the opportunity to vote on the question at the end of the session.
